I was doodling at a Starbucks the other day and started drawing the faces of this character, Raven.

The Sound of Advertisement

Experimented with video again! Contrasting sound and imagery and playing upon some of the silly connections I see in advertisements nowadays.

This will also be looping at the Super Highway Exhibition space at USC! Yay

I Heard A Fly Buzz by Emily Dickinson

Taking an Intro to Animation Techniques class and this is my take on an Emily Dickinson poem. Some people found the ending a bit... well you'll see ;)

Stills from "T.V." Video Project

I experimented with video and claymation and I thought it'd be nice to show some of the stills and close ups from the making of the set!

The best part about this project was seeing the little room come to life before I even started filming. I created this set to mirror my living room growing up as a kid and watching TV. I improvised on the materials to make the furniture: cardboard for the walls, door, and picture frame, cork for the plant, clay for the subject and kitten, etc.

More pictures and close ups...

"T.V." Video Project

Experimented with claymation in my Intro to Video class. It's the experience of watching t.v. and not noticing the time passing by... slowly forgetting about the other things in the room.

Skin Peel

14" x 17" ink and acrylic

I've been wondering lately what's underneath.

Plesh

14" x 17" with pastel

Tried to see how far I could push the color and still call it "flesh". The hand on the left is pushing "zombie status".

Chaetophobia

15" x 11" ink

The fear of hair.
